Oracle Financial Systems Specialist (Vancouver)

Our client, a large unionized organization in Downtown Vancouver, is seeking a Oracle Financial Systems Specialist to support the department in all Financial Systems. This role will utilize your advanced knowledge of data extraction, financial transaction processing and reporting systems. This is an excellent opportunity that offers great work/life balance!
Duties:
Work with Financial Analysts and Managers to resolve functional concerns of Oracle, Cognos and other software through analysis, recommendation and implementation of solutions
Provide technical support as the in-house SuperUser of Oracle e-Business Suite on AP, GL, PA, AR, FA and CM
Liaise with outside service provider to resolve issues
Managing system enhancements
Provide training to the department on financial system tools
Adding new employee set up to the system
Reconcile information between reports in Oracle
Other duties as required
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Management Information Systems
Accounting Designation or completion of advance levels of designation program
Customer Service “can-do” attitude
Experience in financial policies and processes
Advanced knowledge and experience with Oracle e-Business Suite and other financial systems
Strong knowledge of financial transaction processing and reporting systems along with data extraction skills.
