HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST - Brilliant Corporate Role (Burnaby, BC)

Our client is a highly respected and established corporate organization. A new position has arisen for an HR Consultant to join their team environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who is seeking a hands-on role offering variety and autonomy.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• Managing the full-cycle recruitment process for management & staff positions
• Incorporating & implementing strategic recruitment initiatives & methods
• Ensuring a high standard of HR service delivery to the managers and employees
• Providing leadership and advice on a range of HR issues, including recruitment, performance management and employee career & development
• Overseeing & co-ordinating all employee hires, terminations and outplacements
• Managing & delivering on HR projects such as remuneration, training & development, benefits, health & safety
• Providing support to managers in relation to their collective agreement and labour matters, including the grievance process and liaising with local union representatives
In order to be successful, you will have a degree or diploma In Human Resources Management, with a minimum 5 years experience in a generalist role with expertise across all key HR functions. A strong working knowledge of labour & employment laws and all applicable regulations is essential.
