Strategic Alliance Coordinator
Reporting to the VP Commercial Sales and Strategic Alliances, the Strategic Alliance coordinator is responsible for leveraging 1-800-GOT-JUNK 1-800-GOT-JUNK?’s strategic alliances by planning, developing, and executing commercial marketing programs with those alliances to promote brand strength and revenue generation. This will be achieved by working closely with the VP Marketing and Marketing Campaign Manager to ensure that creative campaigns are integrated into the overall marketing plan of the Junktion.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining strategic alliance marketing plans and projects with alliance partners including web content, blogs, social media marketing, email campaigns, event planning and Public Relations. This will include:
o Establishing a proven process for managing the alliance life-cycle
o Developing an overall marketing solution for our alliances
• Managing the implementation of alliance projects working with Junktion stakeholders.
o This will include our Operations, Communications and IT Departments to ensure flawless execution, and the subsequent tracking of the effectiveness of these programs throughout their lifecycle
• Evaluation of potential strategic alliance partnerships to determine the most beneficial relationships to pursue
o Assisting Strategic Account Managers with the writing of proposals for strategic alliances
• Identifying and executing new marketing programs that strengthen strategic alliances
• On-going communication of progress to all stakeholders via regular project reports or scheduled meetings.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant Marketing experience in a fast-paced, corporate setting
• Experience with Project Management Software, preferably MS Project
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills are required to rally stakeholders to contribute to a focused marketing program
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• High level of oral and written communication skills is a must.
• Comfortable in working independently and with limited supervision
• Must have proven multi-tasking experience, and the ability to work against required deadlines
